“A complete experience that will allow you to feel the warmth of Brazilian culture, dance, and music.
The evening will begin with an optional dinner at 6:30 for fans of Brazilian Bossa Nova music – the Jazz band “MOONGLOW” will present the greatest successes of this style of music, which is a fusion of lyrical samba and jazz, made famous by Vinicius de Moraes and Tom Jobim.
We’ll warm up the dance floor starting at 8:30 with the following attractions:
FLORQUESTRA BRASIL with its mosaic of Brazilian rhythms and songs performed by our dear friend Regina Teixeira and her talented group of musicians.
DJ NIGHT GROOVE will play the greatest Brazilian carnaval hits of yesterday and today.
SAMBA OTTAWA with its explosive energy, vibrant percussion, tambourines, and agogôs!
- And, as might be expected, there’ll be a presentation of Brazilian samba performed by the beautiful and graceful dancers “As Tchutchucas Loucas“.
- To really turn up the heat we’re inviting all guests to come decked out in your best carnaval costume! Those in best costumes will be awarded with some pretty awesome prizes! The only rule is to use your imagination: a feathered carnavalesque beauty, a pirate, a clown, a man dressed as a woman (and vice versa), anything goes!
And all this for only $15 – ensure you buy your ticket now because this price is only for a limited time! Tickets can be purchased via this website or at our office at 110 Clarence Street, Suite 203 (in Ottawa’s Byward Market) or by phone 819.329.6071.”
